Randon Companies announced on Tuesday, November 1st, the completion of the purchase of the North-American manufacturer of semi-trailers Hercules. Announced to the market in July, the acquisition marks the entry of Randon Companies into a new market for the OEM business vertical. The transaction has an initial investment of approximately 40 million dollars.
Hercules is a traditional semi-trailers’ manufacturer specialized in base models for containers, with more than 60 years in the United States. The company is headquartered in Hillsborough, New Jersey. Another important achievement, which advances with the closing of the deal, is the certification obtained for the manufacturing, in the United States, of products with Randon brand.

Randon Implementos is the largest manufacturer of semi-trailers in Latin America and is among the largest in the world. In addition to six units located in Brazil, the company maintains a plant in Argentina and works with partners for the assembly of semi-trailers in several strategic global logistics points in Central America and Africa, in addition to a national and international distribution network of more than 175 points.
